Gear and Licenses
 The only license you
will need is an Alaska
nonresident small game license costing 20.
A state stamp costing $5 and a federal
stamp that you probably already have. Standard
gear is neoprene waders and a warm parka.
Weather is unpredictable, rain is a possibility
any time of year.
A 12 gauge 3
inch mag # 1, 2 and BB shot is recommended,
although 3 1 /2 inch mags work well on
the seaducks. 2 Boxes of shells a day is
average. Bring a big cooler to take your
birds back in, one cooler per 2 people
is about right. Bring ziplocks and nylons
for freezing the birds in.
